World war z game
Zed On Arrival?
The graphics are pretty average and not very detailed. This extends to the zombies which look very generic and have very few details to make them look like zombies. There are stronger classes of zombies which have unique designs such as the Hazmat zombie which explodes with bile when killed which inhibits your vision. But honestly, the game looks no better than Left 4 Dead 2 but that title had its own visual style. World of z game Rome is the more by-the-numbers of the two: it takes a well-known destination, gives it whatever the opposite of a facelift is, then lets you and your friends blast your way through it for a laugh. Aside from the new sights, sounds, and giant flaming pits filled with zombies, there isn’t much to distinguish Italy from other destinations. It’s still good ol’ fashioned face-smashing fun with a few highlights, like when you have to guide and refuel a van through the streets of Rome while under constant undead assault. Nothing really stuck with me very long after I beat it, though, except maybe those flaming pits filled with dead zombies; those might give me nightmares.

There were maybe 10 different cards in the whole deck and I would have liked to see more variety. I liked the differences in some of the weapons and some of the tactics cards were great, but you will pretty quickly see the same cards over and over.

Deaf & Hard of Hearing Gamers: This game offers subtitles. The subtitles cannot be be altered and/or resized. I played almost the entire game without sound and encountered standard FPS issues in that I was regularly attacked by offscreen enemies I couldn’t hear coming. The game provides directional indicators to let players know which way the attacks are coming from, which is helpful, but maybe stick to easier difficulty levels.
